Our Promise
For more than 50 years, the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) has guided the global recreational marine industry in creating a better boating experience that reduces our environmental footprint. We know it is our responsibility to advance the resilience of the industry to ensure people can continue to enjoy boating for generations to come. To do that, collaboration, innovation and education are fundamental.
That is why we developed Propelling Our Future, a global effort to provide guidance and resources to help the industry further improve its environmental performance.
Through Propelling Our Future, we’re bringing together leaders across the industry to understand and implement our path forward. From advocating for new research, policies and technologies, to leading trainings and equipping stakeholders with knowledge on emerging technologies and regulations, we are committed to future proofing the industry and ensuring it can thrive amid economic, environmental and regulatory changes.
